Banishing Doubt is a six-session small-group personal-development and psychoeducational programme designed to help participants explore and work with patterns including self-doubt, overthinking, negative self-talk, fear of failure, fear of judgement, reduced confidence and difficulty taking action.
The course consists of six 90-minute in-person group sessions, beginning on Saturday 10 October 2026. Remaining session dates and times will be confirmed through the booking information supplied to participants.
The group is limited to a maximum of six participants.
The programme may include psychological education, guided discussion, practical exercises, between-session activities, relaxation exercises and hypnotherapeutic techniques where appropriate.
Banishing Doubt is an educational and therapeutic personal-development course. It is not individual psychotherapy delivered in a group and it does not provide psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention or emergency mental-health care.
The course is intended to provide information, experiences and practical strategies that may support personal development. Everyone responds differently to psychological exercises, personal-development techniques and hypnotherapy. No particular psychological, emotional, behavioural or other outcome is guaranteed and individual results will vary.
Participation in individual practical, relaxation or hypnotherapeutic exercises is voluntary. You may choose not to take part in a particular exercise and may discuss any concerns with the course facilitator.
The course is intended for adults aged 18 or over unless attendance by a younger person has been expressly agreed in writing in advance by Thinking Free and appropriate consent and safeguarding arrangements have been made.
The course fee is:
Payment in full is required at the time of booking. A place is not secured until payment has been successfully received.
If you book the course online, by telephone or by another distance-selling method, you will normally have the legal right to cancel your booking within 14 days of entering into the contract without giving a reason.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which the booking contract is made.
To exercise this right, you must inform Thinking Free of your decision to cancel by a clear statement sent to:
Email: enquiries@thinkingsuccess.co.uk
You may use the cancellation wording provided later on this page, but you are not required to do so.
If you validly cancel within the statutory cancellation period before any course service has begun, all payments received in relation to the booking will be refunded in accordance with applicable consumer law.
If you book less than 14 days before the course or another part of the booked service is due to begin, you may be asked to expressly request that the service begins during your statutory cancellation period.
If you make that request and then cancel after part of the service has been supplied, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service already provided.
If a service is fully performed during the statutory cancellation period after you have expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that your cancellation right will be lost once the service is fully performed, your statutory right to cancel that completed service may end.
Because Banishing Doubt is a small-group course with a strict maximum of six participants, each booking reserves a place that may otherwise have been sold to another participant.
If you cancel after any applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, the course fee will normally be non-refundable to the extent necessary to cover the losses directly resulting from your cancellation.
Thinking Free will take reasonable steps to reduce any loss where practicable. If your cancelled place can be filled by another paying participant, Thinking Free will consider an appropriate refund, less any reasonable costs or losses already incurred in connection with your booking.
Any refund due will be assessed fairly in the circumstances and nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
You should contact Thinking Free as early as possible if you need to cancel.
A booking may not automatically be transferred to another person because all participants are subject to suitability requirements.
Thinking Free may, at its discretion, permit a booking to be transferred to another suitable participant provided that sufficient notice is given, the replacement participant completes any required suitability screening and the transfer does not cause additional unreasonable cost or disruption.
If you are unable to attend an individual session, no refund or reduction in the course fee will normally be made because your place remains reserved and the session cannot ordinarily be resold independently.
Where appropriate, Thinking Free may provide course materials relating to a missed session, but this is not guaranteed and does not replace attendance at the live group session.
Thinking Free reserves the right to carry out a brief pre-course suitability screening before confirming or continuing participation.
This particular small-group programme is not designed for people who are currently experiencing, or who report conditions or circumstances that place their needs outside the scope of the course.
Thinking Free does not accept participants onto this particular group course where the reported presentation includes:
These exclusions reflect the scope, format and risk-management arrangements of this particular course. They should not be interpreted as a statement that psychological therapy or hypnotherapy is universally inappropriate for every person with one of these conditions.
You agree to provide honest and reasonably complete information where asked about matters relevant to your suitability and safety.
If, based on information honestly provided by you before the course begins, Thinking Free determines that the course is not suitable for you, your booking will be cancelled and any course fee paid will be refunded.
If important information relevant to safe participation is knowingly withheld or materially misrepresented, Thinking Free may suspend or end participation. Any refund in those circumstances will be considered fairly, taking into account services already supplied and any direct losses resulting from the cancellation.
The course is not a replacement for treatment or advice provided by your GP, psychiatrist, psychologist or other healthcare professional.
You should not stop, reduce or alter prescribed medication or existing medical or psychological treatment because of anything discussed or experienced during this course without first consulting the appropriately qualified healthcare professional responsible for your care.
If you are unsure whether participation is appropriate because of an existing medical or psychological condition, you should seek appropriate professional advice before attending.
Thinking Free will treat personal information shared within the course in accordance with professional confidentiality obligations, subject to the usual legal, ethical and safeguarding limits.
Because this is a group programme, other participants may hear information that you choose to share. All participants are expected to respect the privacy of other group members and not disclose identifiable information shared by another participant outside the group.
However, Thinking Free cannot absolutely guarantee the behaviour or confidentiality of other participants. You should therefore make your own choices about the level of personal information you wish to disclose within the group.
Participants must not audio record, video record, photograph, livestream or otherwise record any course session or another participant without prior written permission from Thinking Free and the express agreement of every person affected.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards the facilitator, clinic staff and other group members.
Thinking Free may ask a participant to leave or may end their participation where behaviour is seriously disruptive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, unsafe, repeatedly breaches group boundaries or significantly interferes with the wellbeing of other participants.
Where participation is ended for serious misconduct, any refund will be considered in accordance with applicable consumer law and the actual services supplied and losses incurred.
Course materials, worksheets, recordings, exercises, handouts, slides and other resources supplied by Thinking Free remain the intellectual property of Thinking Free or their respective copyright owners unless otherwise stated.
Materials are supplied for your own personal use only. They must not be copied, reproduced, sold, published, uploaded, shared commercially, used to deliver another course or redistributed without prior written permission.
Thinking Free may need to cancel, postpone or make reasonable changes to a session or course because of facilitator illness, venue problems, insufficient participant numbers, emergencies or circumstances outside reasonable control.
If Thinking Free cancels the entire course before it begins, all course fees paid will be refunded in full.
If an individual session must be postponed, Thinking Free will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement session. If a material change means that you are unable reasonably to receive the service originally booked, any appropriate refund or alternative arrangement will be considered in accordance with your consumer rights.
Thinking Free is not responsible for additional indirect costs incurred by participants, such as travel, accommodation, childcare or loss of earnings, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Thinking Free reserves the right to postpone or cancel the course if there are insufficient bookings to make the group reasonably viable.
If the course is cancelled by Thinking Free for this reason, participants will receive a full refund of course fees paid or may choose an alternative course date if one is offered.
Personal development depends on many individual factors, including personal circumstances, engagement, practice between sessions and the way each person responds to the material.
Thinking Free does not guarantee increased confidence, reduced self-doubt or any specific psychological, behavioural, personal or professional result.
You remain responsible for decisions and actions you take during and after the programme.
Information collected for booking, suitability screening and course administration may include information about physical or mental health.
Thinking Free will process personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection law and the relevant Privacy Policy. Health information will only be collected and used where reasonably necessary for suitability, safety, professional practice or course administration.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to those rights, Thinking Free is not responsible for losses arising solely from decisions made by participants contrary to professional or medical advice, failure to disclose relevant suitability information, or use of course materials for purposes outside the intended scope of the programme.
If you have a concern about the course, please raise it with John Taylor as soon as reasonably possible so that an attempt can be made to resolve the matter.
Complaints may be sent to:
Email: enquiries@thinkingsuccess.co.uk
The Terms applying to your booking will normally be those in force when you book. Thinking Free may update these Terms for future bookings.
Any necessary change affecting an existing booking will be communicated fairly and will not remove statutory rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

This may include information concerning medical conditions, mental-health conditions, medication, treatment or other matters directly relevant to the course suitability criteria.
Thinking Free does not require you to provide a complete medical history. You should only be asked to provide information reasonably relevant to course suitability and safety.

Thinking Free may use third-party services to manage appointments, bookings, payments, email communications or related course administration.
For example, course bookings may be administered through Acuity Scheduling and payment may be handled by an associated payment-processing provider.

The course may involve group discussion. Other participants may therefore hear information that you choose to share during a session.

However, Thinking Free cannot absolutely guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality. You remain in control of how much personal information you choose to disclose during group discussion.

Administrative emails that are necessary to provide your booked course, such as session information, changes or booking messages, are not marketing communications.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
If information is genuinely necessary to determine whether you can participate safely in the course, withdrawal of consent to process that information may mean that Thinking Free is unable to continue offering you a place.
