About Our Courses and Products

Thinking Success provides educational and professional development courses, webinars, downloadable resources and related learning materials for personal and professional use.

We take reasonable care to describe our courses and products accurately. However, minor changes to content, format, delivery method, timing, platform or supporting materials may sometimes be necessary.

How to Purchase

When you place an order for a course, webinar, digital download or other paid product or service, you are making an offer to purchase. A contract will be formed when we accept your order and confirm your purchase, usually by email or by providing access to the product or service.

Before purchase, we aim to provide key information including the identity of the business, the main characteristics of the product or service, the price, payment arrangements, and any relevant cancellation or refund terms. GOV.UK guidance says online sellers must provide certain pre-contract information before an order is placed. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}

Prices and Payment

All prices displayed on the website are in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but any change will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase unless an alternative arrangement is expressly stated.

Payments may be processed using PayPal or another third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details on our website.

Digital Content and Course Access

Many of our products and services consist of digital content, including online courses, recordings, downloads, webinars, worksheets, videos, PDFs and other educational materials.

Where a course or product is delivered digitally, access details will usually be provided after payment has been received and the order has been accepted.

We reserve the right to change the platform, structure or format used to deliver digital content where reasonably necessary.

Live Events and Webinars

Some courses or services may include live webinars, training events or sessions delivered through platforms such as ClickMeeting. We will take reasonable steps to provide these as described, but we reserve the right to change dates, times, speakers, format or delivery platform where reasonably necessary.

If we need to cancel or significantly reschedule a live paid event, we will use reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date, transfer, credit or refund as appropriate.

Your Cancellation Rights

If you are a consumer buying online, you may have legal cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. In many cases, you have 14 days from the day after the contract is made for services, or from the day after delivery for goods, to cancel without giving a reason. GOV.UK explains that online customers generally have a 14-day cancellation period, with different rules for downloads and streaming or other digital content. :contentReference[oaicite:4]{index=4}

Important Rules for Digital Content

Where you purchase digital content, including online courses, webinar recordings, downloadable materials or other digital products, your statutory right to cancel may be lost once digital content delivery begins, if you have expressly agreed that access should start during the cancellation period and acknowledged that you will lose the right to cancel once delivery begins.

This is why, where relevant, we may ask you to confirm that you want immediate access to digital content and that you understand your cancellation rights may end once that access has started. GOV.UK states that digital downloads and streaming have different cancellation rules from standard physical goods. :contentReference[oaicite:5]{index=5}

Refund Policy for Digital Courses and Downloads

Unless otherwise stated for a particular course or offer, refunds are not normally available for digital products, downloadable materials, recorded courses or online course access once access has been granted, content has been delivered, or the download has started, except where required by law.

If a product is faulty, significantly not as described, or there is another legal basis for refund under consumer law, your statutory rights are not affected.

Refund Policy for Live Courses, Webinars and Events

If you purchase a place on a live course, webinar or event and wish to cancel before it takes place, you should contact us as soon as possible at enquiries@thinkingsuccess.co.uk.

Where a refund is offered for a live event, webinar or training, this will depend on the timing of the cancellation and the nature of the event. Unless otherwise stated on the specific booking page, we may offer one of the following at our discretion and subject to your legal rights: transfer to another session, a credit, a partial refund, or a full refund where cancellation is made in good time and costs have not already been incurred.

If the live event has already taken place, or if you fail to attend, refunds are not normally available unless required by law or unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Faulty, Misdescribed or Inaccessible Content

If you believe that a course, download or service is faulty, materially inaccessible, or significantly different from its description, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can review the issue and, where appropriate, offer a repair, replacement, re-access, partial refund or full refund in line with your legal rights.

Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you may have if digital content or services are faulty or not as described.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that the product or service you purchase is suitable for your needs before you buy it, including checking the description, format, timing, technical requirements and any intended audience information provided.

You are also responsible for ensuring that you have suitable internet access, compatible hardware, software and technical capability to access online materials, webinars or downloads.

Licence and Acceptable Use

When you purchase a course or digital product, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own personal use or, where expressly stated, your own internal professional use.

You must not copy, record, reproduce, resell, redistribute, share login details, upload content to third-party platforms, or otherwise exploit purchased materials commercially without our prior written permission.

Account Sharing and Access Restrictions

Course access is intended only for the person or organisation that purchased it, unless otherwise expressly agreed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access without refund where there is evidence of unauthorised sharing, misuse, copying, redistribution or breach of these terms.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, downloads, videos, worksheets, recordings, branding and related content remain the intellectual property of Thinking Success or its licensors unless otherwise stated. Purchase does not transfer ownership of intellectual property rights.

Changes to Courses and Services

We may update, improve, replace or withdraw course modules, downloadable materials, webinar content, delivery platforms or supporting resources from time to time where reasonably necessary. We will aim to avoid material reduction in the core value of a purchased course, but reserve the right to make reasonable changes.

Our Right to Refuse or Cancel an Order

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or cancel an order or access where there has been an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, misuse of the website or services, breach of these terms, unauthorised sharing, abusive behaviour, or other circumstances that make fulfilment inappropriate or impractical.

If we cancel an order before delivery or access has started, we will normally provide a refund of sums paid for that order.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thinking Success excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from the purchase or use of any course, webinar, event, digital content or related service. This includes loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or loss of data.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where this would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights. UK consumer terms must be fair and cannot remove legal rights that the law gives consumers. :contentReference[oaicite:6]{index=6}

Governing Law

These Course Purchase Terms and Refund Policy are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident where applicable. If you are a business customer, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.
